Directly north of Medicine Hat halfway to Edmonton, 50ft from the gravel shoulder of a dusty rural Hwy 886, rests the remnants of The Gray Homestead. Rotting plank by plank the universe is reclaiming this 1913 relic of a settler family's modest life in Southwest Alberta. The tiny home falls silent today as time runs out but fortunately if you have a small supply of AA batteries it can live on forever as a dramatic, rustic silent clock face that will add a little living/dying Canadian history to your room.
